I'm an alumnus and I came here to find a gift. It's nice here. All kinds of merchandise including shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, caps, souvenirs, etc. They also have tablets and other electronics. You can find all kinds of snacks as well. There's a Starbucks next door with an entrance from the bookstore. Upstairs, they sell books and school supplies. Plenty of seating for hanging out. First hour of parking is free.

Expensive merchandise, I must say. But hey, they have all the stuff that a student needs over here. Textbooks, graduation ceremony things, stationery, laptops, desktops, all other digi stuff, gifts, jewelry, novels, clothes, and some other convenient store items, including basic medicine, and whatnot. Every single thing that you find here is a bit pricey. The stuff is pretty cool and every student of UTA would like to have it in their collection.

They have a Starbucks attached to the Campus Bookstore. Just drop in, and pick your coffee.

I love walking through the UTA bookstore! It is always neat and clean. They have a wide variety of shirts and clothing items, along with coffee mugs, cups, blankets, etc. It's great for a stop to get gifts for graduates as well.

The bookstore doesn't have any influence over parking, but to use the bookstore I have to park. And parking at UTA Bookstore is not a great experience. The bookstore itself is ok, maybe 3 stars.

Parking at UTA a mess. Both of my kids attend and we pay full price. You'd think I could park for a quick visit.

The university needs to overhaul the parking strategy. Right now it exists to generate income, not to the benefit of students or staff.

I have been a UTA student for over 6 months. I am using funding from military programs and the bookstore has yet to make an account for me so I can pay via my VA resources. The company they use to outsource phone calls is useless. I have gotten in touch with a book store employee a few times and yet nothing has been resolved.
All of my classes are online and I live 5 hours away from the bookstore so going in to physically talk to someone is not an option.

I ordered a book online for my class and received it in a timely manner. However, the code did not work. I’ve been trying all week to get help and I keep getting told you will receive an answer in 24-48 hours. It’s been a week and nothing. I am just trying to get a working code for my class, I paid for this and received no help. I was then told “just drive up to the bookstore” I live in Houston. Finally I got ahold of someone from the book store and she claimed she was going to help but then never called back. Terrible costumer service, they steal your money and don’t even give you the correct book or a working code for that matter.

Update: I finally got a response and was able to speak to someone who could actually help. Not sure if this was because I left a bad review or they finally decided to look at the emails from their customer service company. Now I have a working code. I really hope it’s not like this in the future when I have to purchase other books for other classes.

2024 update: emails were sent out to students who need chem kits to be mailed to them. So I sent my email with my address and student id as requested. I then received an email from the bookstore to go pick up the kit. I live in 234 miles away from the store. Tried getting this fixed and of course no one is getting back to me. What a great experience for online students!

I used to buy Altoids on my way to class each morning. The service was good. I didn’t really buy any books there because I worked part time at an off campus bookstore. Wes, the owner of the off campus bookstore, would get me my books for free. It was the early 90’s. All I can say I had great memories of the “curiously strong” Altoids I purchased at ole UTA. The clerk there was cute and I’d chat her up. We eventually dated for a while, but I broke it off after she got too clingy and discussed “where is this going?” I’d moved to San Antonio by this point and was kind of dating other girls. I felt bad when she cried on the phone when I told her to not drive down to see me. I wonder whatever happened to her.

Study. Study. Studying. The UTA Book Store has all your needs to help you earn the 4.0 this semester. Dell laptop's. Microsoft laptop's. Happy Plugs earphones for your smartphone. Just ask for Jon. He's the smartest smiling sales guy who can give you the BEST deal in town than Best Buy or Fry's ever will. REMEMBER: HERE'S A LITTLE TID BIT I'LL SHARE WITH YOU. When I graduated from UTA in 1986, PC'S or smartphone's were not invented yet. Huh. Imagine that!!
And it all started with a vision of one man a little show everyone said was impossible and out of this world. I'm referring to the 'communicator'. The TV show is Star Trek and the man's name is Gene Roddenberry.
See how far mankind had come. Oh I forgot to mention: Q: Who was the movie studio company that took a chance on this TV show with reviews like 'stupid', 'dumb', and 'not very believable' The name is Desilu and this movie company was owned by Lucille Ball & Desi Arnes .
HEY I'm not that old!!
