Today was my second time renting here, and each time it has been a wonderful experience.

I was helped by Abbie, who could not have been nicer. She was very professional and explained everything very carefully and completely.
Quite different from the usual rental car experience.

Once the paperwork was done I proceeded to the garage where the very nice attendant went over the car, noted any imperfections, and I was on my way.

The car was very nice and new. The prices were the lowest I've found. And, while I originally came here for the pricing, I'll be back for the amazing customer service and great cars

I had a great experience renting from U Car San Diego this week for a short family trip. We had 3 big people and two in car seats and were accommodated very well. I appreciate the affordable pricing, the vehicle was brand new (Honda CR-V) although could use some detailing (I came at end of day and was just grateful to be able to a car and one in the size I needed) Omega did wipe down the smudges on the windows and the other items were not too bothersome to require immediate attention. The standard SUV fit us all plus our luggage and a large stroller. The front desk check in was quick, the staff lady was very professional! Another gentleman, Ali, was amazing and went above and beyond to serve us even helping carry and load our luggage into the shuttle van and wouldn’t even accept a tip - now I wish I would have insisted! He definitely deserved it. Omega, our lovely shuttle driver was kind, easy going and open to our many questions about living in San Diego. Great customer service is paramount and these guys gave it. Thank you!

I had a great experience with U Save Car Rental in San Diego this weekend. Their prices are very reasonable, and all of their staff were very friendly/professional. The shuttle service was quick which made it easy to get to and from the rental location. Only drawback is you have to transfer twice, once from the airport to the airport's Consolidated Rental Car Center before getting picked up from there by U Save - but it was quick and well worth the cost savings. Highly recommend and plan to use again!

I need to say our shuttle driver from airport was amazing. 5+ stars for that guy. The $500 deposit at pick up was a huge surprise (not listed online during booking) and way out of average market range. The manager Tyler didn’t even provide us customer service although he was called into front desk. Just rent from airport rental companies as they will be way more reasonable when it comes to your deposit, etc. and the customer service ethics will be better.

Customer service here is so nice. I called to ask about the insurance requirements and was given the correct information of what to bring for proof of insurance. The person I spoke with, Jenny, even remembered me when she was driving the shuttle to the airport shuttle. Everyone I encountered was nice and helpful. I will rent from them again. The price was great and the car was shiny clean and new.

Tyler, the front counter agent was awesome! He was friendly, professional and thorough in his explanations. The shuttle driver (I did not get his name) was also great. Car was clean and new, pickup and drop-off were easy, and the rental fee extremely affordable. The only fly in the ointment was the car we received was cleaned with Fabuloso, which I am allergic to. Tyler said it wasn't a problem to get another car, but we'd have to wait a bit, which we were unable to do. I wore my personal air purifier, we drove with the windows down and bought a gel odor absorber at Lowe's on our way out of town. The smell was neutralized within 36 hours. Lesson learned- will call ahead next time and request an odor free car. 10/10 will definitely rent here again 🙂

Don't waste your time and money, waited half an hour for their shuttle to come. Once got there, gentleman at the counter said they didn't have the car I reserved and he added 25 dollars a day to my rate because I was an hour and half past my pick up time. And they said they only hold for an hour. I wouldn't have missed the hold window in the first place if their shuttle didn't take forever to come. Basically they know it will take you about an hour just to get to their office and they intentionally try to take advantage of travelers who don't know any better or have any other options to almost double their rate. Don't fall for their scam and go across the street to Hertz and get a car there for way less money and better customer service.
