I've been developing businesses and an intreprenur for the past 6 years in the business funding space. I came across Startup Ignition and felt it would be a good way to develop existing and new ideas within the space I am currently in. The access to the wisdom and experience of the professional staff is worth 10x the tuition for this program. The ongoing support and outside perspective within the alumni and faculty community for all future projects will be priceless for years to come. Startup Ignition concepts will help anyone with business ideas identify what's a good scalable idea and what's a bad idea to kill in the most efficient proven process. I'd highly recommend Startup Ignition to anyone in their career developing new ideas or anyone starting a brand new business!

It is A MUST take for anyone serious about achieving their ideas and dreams be it via a career path or entrepreneurial path.

Don't think, just take this course. It will be the best self/career investment you make. Even if you are not wanting to start your own business, you will benefit from this course. Plan to exit this course with a new way of looking at life; a dynamic skill to identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities; tools to produce money; a network to the most influential individuals in Utah, and a resilient self-confidence that will get you were you want to go.

I have spent years in formal education, pursuing multiple degrees including a bachelors in Entrepreneurship, along with participating in diverse entrepreneurial ventures to know what I could have easily gained out of Startup Ignition. I know that my entrepreneurial and professional career successes would have been magnified and my entrepreneurial failures minimized had I known what then what Startup Ignition teaches.

So what exactly does Startup Ignition do? The course properly opens your mind and shifts your thinking. You begin to see opportunities (problems, pains, gaps), evaluate them (profitability of creating a solution), and effectively execute (make money) without even thinking that you're doing it. The associative skills to that mindset are seeded if not adequately matured for harvest; including questioning, listening, negotiating, collaborating, and selling-selling-selling.

Excellent course. I couldn't speak more highly of it. Learning the do's and don'ts of a startup will save you time, money, and heartache. It is well worth the cost of tuition. John Richards has incredible experience with startups and teaching the lean startup method. He also is an incredible mentor. If you are considering creating your own business or you have already started one and want some help, please, please, please, take this course.

If I would have taken this class before my last business went under I wouldn't have made the mistakes that most new business owners make. If you're going to start a business or if you're already in business I highly recommend taking Startup Ignition; you'll save a lot of heartache, money, and most importantly, time.
