I've rented from other kiosks at the Eagle-Vail airport, but SIXT has been my smoothest experience BY FAR!! The agent Whitney B. was very helpful and kind helping me with a last-minute urgent reservation. Upon pickup, Irving answered all of my questions so there were no "surprises" that I've gotten from other rental kiosks. The rental car was very clean and modern. The return process was simple, and Irving even walked with me to point out the return lot. AMAZING service and I will be recommending to all of my friends/family that visit.

Really great experience with SIXT. They handled my reservation very well. I was able to rent a BMW cheaper than paying the shuttle to Vail. They were attentive of my flights and arrival. My plans changed mid flight and they were able to accommodate a larger car than I had originally booked. Once I arrived the check out process was quick and easy. The staff was so good about taking care of everything. When returning the car I was able to leave the car planeside and the airport staff returned the car for me. Really great process.

Have used SIXT multiple times. Has become the go-to choice when available. First time using the EGE-Vail location. Customer Agent Whitney was very friendly and professional. Conducted our business promptly and efficiently. Provided us with local knowledge and suggestions that proved correct and invaluable. They are always the nicest people, and it’s never crowded… Probably because it’s not one of the main main known rental agencies. On a sidenote, it is often cheaper than the other agencies even with a military discount applied to them.

If I could give NO stars, I would. After coming in person 2 weeks prior of date of rental (letting them know I needed a bigger car) the manager put me for one and said I was set and would pay the difference when I show up. Today I showed up for the rental, the 2 in the front desk told me they couldn't give me a bigger car..... Thanks for the heads up smh. Canceled and will never rent from them again. Went to Avis instead and had an awesome experience.

Rented a vehicle same day, picked up for the weekend. Was nice and easy getting the vehicle checked out, I declined insurance because my card offers it.

I drove the vehicle directly to a hotel lot where it sat for 2 days and then directly back. When I turned in the vehicle I got a notice several days later that they were claiming over $2000 of damage to the vehicle (on a total rented value of like $100). This was absolutely ridiculous, as the vehicle was in good condition and as I said I drove it on the highway and parked in a locked garage then directly back at the end of the weeekend.

See the photos for some examples of the kind of damage that they're trying to claim. These are superficial clear coat scratches on a rental along with dozens of pictures of pre-existing damage that isn't extreme enough to get your phone out and take extensive pictures of (and which isn't visible at arms length in the daylight). Photos of the damage show the person taking them with the phone within 2 inches of the 'damage' because it wouldn't be visible otherwise. This would be impossible for someone to predict, and unless the car was scanned inch by inch for an hour in the parking lot (including the top of the vehicle), nobody would ever have photo coverage to dispute these charges.

I've always taken good care of my rentals and I've never had an issue until now. This place is scamming their customers, and I"ll never rent from sixt again, and certainly not from this group of scammers in Vail.

Renters beware!!!! As other renters have posted, you will be blamed for scratches you DID NOT do!! And then charged $2000 to fix them. It’s absolutely absurd and disgusting and we will NEVER EVER rent from this company again!! So frustrating and such a wonderful way to end a family vacation. Thanks for nothing Sixt.
