Life Time truly embodies its name on all the activities it offers. When you come here and take part of the classes (I strongly recommend the spinning classes and the barbell classes) you really feel the support and energy from the instructors. I’ve been coming for quite sometime and I can truly say that my health has improved considerably and it showed in the last physical I had with my Primary Care Physician- if you put the time and the effort, Life Time and their instructors will change your life.

Just recently joined and everything has been great. I’ve tried a few classes, and I must give a shout out to Ruth. She pushes you, corrects you on your form in her classes and challenges you. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. The facility is always clean and stocked.

A top quality in service due to certain staff members. Shout out to Jennifer who works front desk for helping me out with my membership in a very timely matter. She deserves a raise for being super helpful. Great service all around. Excellent gym that has everything you can ask for.

Appreciated the staff that were very accommodating to our back to school event. We coordinated with Jennifer from the Concierge team and she was able to help us transition everything and the kids had a blast playing basketball, lifting weights and rock climbing. Thank you for helping us provide special memories to our students and staff!

I’ve been a member for at least 10 years. Here’s what I don’t like about this gym and I turned in a report about it at the beginning of 2022 but not sure it was given any importance or credence.

1) women’s locker room has been ridden hard and needs to be managed better. The lockers are awful for several reasons. Less than 50% of lockers are even usable because patrons will take the keys home to the nicer lockers not allowing the lockers to be available for everyone. This is a vicious cycle which is propagated by mismanagement. I’ve including pictures. When I’ve inquired about lockers not being available I was told that they don’t have anymore keys to the missing lockers. This needs to stop. It’s worse at the 121/Lake Forest location than any other location.

2) the toilet area has stainless steel diving walls but they needed to be retired and laid to rest about 8 years ago, at least. I’ve included pictures. I have mentioned this to management in a formal writing with pictures attached and again not a single thing has been done.

3) there have been a few locker doors replaced but coincidentally they all have missing keys because somebody stole the keys to keep it for their own private use. I’ve attached a picture of this too. Also, part of the vicious cycle of maintaining a locker room which is accessible to its paying members.

4) my monthly cost has increased 57% in my 10 years as a member but I have fewer group classes offered that I like to take. My amenities have decreased with the decreased hours of operation. I work a job where working out at 2 in the morning is more amenable to my schedule but I can no longer do that. There is pickle ball now, a few more gym toys and new tile around the locker room vanity mirrors.

5) one of the nasty toilets has been out of service for a long time and the available use date keeps getting extended. I’ve included a photo of that too.

I recently visited Yen at the Allen location in Dallas, where he works in the cafe, and had a wonderful experience. Yen's friendly and welcoming demeanor made my visit even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that my order was just right and that I had everything I needed during my time at the cafe.

Not only was Yen a pleasure to interact with, but the food and drinks he prepared were also delicious. I especially enjoyed the specialty pre workout he recommended, which was expertly crafted and hit the spot perfectly. The cozy atmosphere of the cafe, combined with Yen's excellent service, made for a truly delightful visit. I will definitely be returning to see Yen at the cafe again soon.

Went to the pool and the lifeguards always have horrible attitudes. Today they closed the pool 2 hours early with no warning and were more rude than usual kicking families with small children out pretty aggressively. You don’t expect to be treated this way when you pay hundreds of dollars a month for a family membership but that seems to be reflective of the quality of employees that are hired here. Cancelling our membership at the end of the month, simply not worth it.

The front desk staff are incredibly rude in the afternoon. They’re so busy talking to each other and gossiping that they don’t even take the time to greet you as you walk in and say goodbye when you leave. It’s EVERY SINGLE PERSON. There’s one older lady who continues her conversation while scanning my barcode. Doesn’t look up, acknowledge me, nothing. For the price they’re charging? That’s absolutely unacceptable. Hospitality is -5000/10
