This has to be one of the worst administrative buildings in general, right? They don't answer the phones, you can't even walk inside the building, etc. And everything on their website directs you to the workforce center or an online FAQ. I don't see why anyone even shows up to work honestly. Makes no difference.

Like do you all just sit there and laugh all day about how horrible your nonexistent service is? I really don't understand why this building even exists anymore.

ya you all I had the same problem; appeal process is no better they continue to postpone it. When they continued to not approve my unemployment, I finally stated that the following: We I guess it's better to be an illegal immigrant and get free housing and health insurance instead and food stamps instead. I AM A BORN AND RAISED AMERICAN AND IT'S SAD THAT THE ILLEGALS are getting better treatment than me and all I'm asking for a is pathetic small amount of unemployment compared to what you all are giving somebody that is entering the United States illegally. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Folks open your eyes they want unemployment numbers low for that guy in the WH

I've been pursuing my unemployment claim for two years, making three calls weekly without success. Despite verification on ID.me and The Workforce, they claim issues verifying my name. The owed $12,000 remains inaccessible. How many Little Moses Jones are there in the world that they can't verify me? The only thing I haven't done is strip naked and get fingerprinted, but since I can't get a hold of them, that can't even happen. This bureaucratic nightmare is infuriating, especially given government support. The inability to reach them adds insult to injury.

No fault of my own something happened in the unemployment department related to identity theft. I provided all the documents they asked for to prove my identity over five weeks ago. I have not received a payment in a very long time probably five weeks. I have to wait on hold for sometimes over an hour to speak to somebody who will not give me any details about when I can expect to be receiving my checks again, the website actually shows that I owe them over $16,000 of overpayment which is patently false. I have no money and despite interviewing weekly I have no job offers yet. I cannot even buy the most basics or pay for my mortgage or utilities I cannot understand why this is happening and why it’s taking so long to resolve what I consider an internal business problem .

Opened a claim on March 23 for 7 weeks total. I also filed on time every week and submitted all proper documents that they have requested. Now this has been months with not even $1 from the state because they said that they are still reviewing my identification part. The frustrating thing is that everytime that I call no one can give me a straight answer of how long or when I will receive any type of payment. This is the worst !!!! So much for being there for their people, it must be nice knowing they can count on getting paid on time. THIS WHOLE SYSTEM IS A JOKE!!!!

The identification process is strict and can take time to process. Robert helped me get that expedited, and had an incredibly professional and light hearted demeanor. Please consider him for a raise.

It has been one of the worst experiences ever. I filed back in March2023, I
file every week, submitted my proof of address, id, ss card, selfie....3 weeks ago. I lost my place of residence already and am sleeping in my car. All my belongings are in storage with a lien on it. My car insurance is due on he 9th of July....if I don't get paid soon...I am going to lose everything I have left. And to top it off I my relia card expired months ago and no help from the agents on what to do. Completely frustrating.

Hold director Joseph M Barela accountable! Hold Polis accountable! The insurance money that this office is holding belongs to you! You paid into this system involuntarily, it's your money, don't let them keep it from you! Imagine if your car insurance took 16 weeks to pay out. Call lawyers, we need class action lawsuits for all that waited and lost homes or any other damages. This has been happening for years, it is no mistake.
