We joined 3 years ago and it has been a great experience for our boys (7 and 3 years old)! The Ocean View HS pool is new and well maintained and all the instructors are friendly and professional. Our 3 years-old was so scared of the pool. He cried/kicked on the first lesson but Miss Alex was able to calm him down quickly and get him comfortable with the water. Now he loves going swimming with her and other instructors.
Great way to introduce your kids to swimming, meet other parents, and tire your kids out so they take longer naps during the day!

Our (almost) four year old has been taking lessons from Anna for the past few weeks and I'm amazed by what a difference it's made! He's able to swim across the pool by himself, float on his back, and use a kick board.

Anna has been great. She's always on time and has been flexible with us when we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Most importantly though, she is wonderful with our son! She makes sure that he has fun during the lessons, but she's also firm enough with him to keep him on track and focused on what he's learning. Overall a fantastic experience!

I am so impressed with Jump Start Swimming lessons. Our son is 3 and warmed up to Caitlyn right away. He looks forward to going each week. She makes the lessons fun for him, which was different at the place he went before. She rewards him with toys and trips to the waterfall when he listens well and follows her instruction. We could see a major improvement within just a few lessons. And the pool is really nice with a comfortable seating area to watch the lesson. We will defiantly keep our son in these lessons through the summer.

Alex, my daughter's swim instructor, as well as the president, of Jump Start, has been giving lessons to her for 3 years now. I am very proud and pleased to how far my daughter has grown. She has fine tuned her techniques in swimming. Alex's patience and excellent teaching skills have made this possible. I highly recommend Jump Start as an excellent swimming institution.

We have absolutely loved JSS! This will be our third summer taking lessons through them. Alex has used her background in working with kids with special needs to teach our son with autism how to swim. He has been looking forward to swim lessons since January because of her patience and teaching strategies. We’ve had a few of the other instructors teach our other (neurotypcial) son and they have all been wonderful too. The OVHS pool is clean and convenient to get to. We recommend JSS to everyone we know 🙂
