It’s Sugar is a fairly large candy store located in the Pavilions in downtown Denver. As I browsed, I noticed they offer a wide variety of candies and some apparel, and the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful if you’re searching for something specific. I happened to be craving chocolate, but the store’s chocolate selection was somewhat limited. Given that there are a few dedicated chocolate shops nearby, I wish I had gone to one of those instead.

However, if you’re interested in gummy bears, sugary candies, or other sweet treats, It’s Sugar will definitely meet (and maybe exceed) your needs. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for non-chocolate candy.

I finally know the feeling of a kid in a candy store again. I'm telling you from over sized chocolate bars to candy merch this place has it. The staff is freaking awesome and the decor bright and cheerful! I guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face after visiting with the fun, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have candy flavored drinks even gummy pickle ? where else can you find that? Don't forget the free samples to just ask the manager first ?

Nice selection of candy… And well presented. Their retro candy selection was quite impressive and there was a lot of fun whimsical gifts and candy as well. The working staff was super friendly. Overall, we had fun and enjoyed our Candie the rest of the afternoon!

Great service and wonderful selection of out of this world candies. Just couldn't find lemon drops so I went with war heads.

It's a cute idea, but the prices are a bit insane. There is a wide selection of candies to choose from. Don't get the sour blind box. It is full of expired and pre-opened candies. If you add up the price for all of the items in the box it doesn't really come close to $30.

We were also followed closely by security. Not sure what that was about.

I wish they had more rare candies. I was hoping for astronaut ice cream or really just anything I can't get at a regular grocery store.

This is probably my all-time favorite candy store. They have so many options from the most bizarre gummy candies to "old school" nostalgic sweets. If you're looking for a unique candy shop in Denver, this is the one.
