Great location, close to the lake. Despite being an older motel-style hotel, it is exceptionally clean. The rooms feature balconies with views of either the lake or the woods. The town is small, making it easy to find food and groceries. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with updated vinyl flooring instead of carpet. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Guests receive a discount at the restaurant next door. Although the breakfast doesn't include eggs or sausages, it is still good value for the price.

I had an unexpected trip to the area, and decided to stay here. Mike was great at accommodating my odd request. The rooms were nice and clean. I love that there is not carper in the rooms. Even the jacuzzi tub, was nice and clean.
If I have to travel to the area again, I will definitely stay here. I did not check out the breakfast as I wanted to get on the road. But, I was informed of the breakfast and the hours! I definitely recommend!!!!

Staff is fabulous! Lynn, Patty, all the staff is so kind and helpful. We stay at least once a year and always have a good experience. Rooms are clean with plenty of space. The continental breakfast is nice. Burke's Restaurant right across the parking lot is wonderful. On the water, good food, nice people, deck outside, one of our favorites in the area.

I didn't end up staying there, but I wish to commend the manager of Econo Lodge Cadillac. Through my own fault, I had double booked reservations for a particular night, and didn't realize it until after the cancellation deadline had passed. Coincidentally, they reached out to me for a separate issue, and I explained my situation. Within minutes, the lady (sorry I forget her name) contacted the manager and called me back to tell me that the room had been cancelled for me. Thank you very much!

Pretty nice for an Econolodge. Room was neat and clean. Door to the room from the parking lot or interior hallway. Continental breakfast, so just ok. Fan in the bathroom. Shower head fairy high up, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Not scratchy towels. Nice location.

We stayed just for one night on our way home from Mackinac Island. We were so impressed how clean the room was as well as the amenities for the cost. But what we were most impressed with was the staff. They are truly amazing!!! First we had arrived late and called to let them know. Nate was so kind and such a great sense of humor. He told us not to worry and that they would keep the light on lol!! The beds were extremely comfortable. So comfortable in fact we over slept and missed breakfast. Lynn was right there to bring us juice and pastries. She went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. It made us feel at home, as if we were surrounded by family. This experience had made us frequent flyers lol… we will be back every year on our way home. Thanks you to all the staff they are amazing!!!

The room, bathroom, and bedding were spotlessly clean. The A/C was a little loud when it kicked on but once asleep a non-issue. Friendly staff also would stay again.

Its a older motel , a bit worn, but ... it was clean, comfortable and in a good location, I really can't complain too much.
