I'm not surprised that there's no seating at this station. With the train service being fairly frequent on different days, there's really not much to complain about. It is in a sketchy area, but it's definitely not the worst of the worst. The view of the skyline is nice, and there are a couple parks nearby the station, basically in just walking distance.

Bus service seemed to be pretty frequent when I was there, but there tends to be trouble with trying to board them in time, lots of people run just to make it onboard in enough time. I'd suggest getting a transit app that estimates the time for the trains and buses. From what I have, it works out great with planning ahead of time or if you're needing to get somewhere right away.

Lots of different Bus lines a major hub

There are a lot of drug dealings at this station. The dealers just sit there and will come right out and ask if you need something. They will do their drug right in front of you & don't care. Who's going to arrest them.
RTD & the police know what is going on. This is a major hub so why is the light rail the only one getting security! Another station is Knox light rail one stop off the Decatur/Federal Station.

Always someone interesting to watch while watching the trash blow all around the place. I have yet to NOT be asked for money or cigarettes everytime here. Bus stops are always filled with homeless groups doing nothing productive and they are always filthy( the stops ).

Yes it's dirty and the area at night is 'shady' but never had a problem here. Even the officers at this location are quite helpful but the MAJOR issue for me is the parking machine. Today is the 2nd time since early last month it is not working and leaves me with a small unsettling feeling in the back of my mind that my vehicle will be ticketed or towed. This I hope will be attended to soon and giving regular check ups.
