I've been a member of this gym for about six months, and while I appreciate the amenities and find the overall experience generally satisfactory, there are some significant areas that need attention. First, the gym definitely needs more squat racks—three simply aren’t enough. A gym of this size should have at least four, and replacing the four unused stretching tables would be a good start. The locker rooms are in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling paint above the showers, stained carpets, debris behind lights, broken/damaged lockers, and grime in the jacuzzi that goes uncleaned for days or even weeks are all issues caused by neglect, nothing more. I’ve seen cheaper gyms maintain these areas better. If a full renovation isn’t possible, the cleaning efforts need to be substantially increased. An old locker room is one thing, but an unclean one at this price point is unacceptable. Renovating the bathroom could also help maintain cleanliness. Additionally, someone needs to regularly inspect the equipment and accessories to replace anything that’s worn out. Despite these issues, I'll continue my membership for now as it meets my current needs, but CAC should know that, like many others, I’d be quick to switch to a better-maintained gym if one became available.

I had an awful experience at the Colorado Athletic Club. The staff member named Max was unbelievably rude. While we were in the sauna, he slammed the door so hard it was shocking and completely ruined the atmosphere. He acted like he didn’t care at all about the members and was incredibly unfriendly the entire time. I’ve never experienced such disrespect at a club that’s supposed to be relaxing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be going back.

Great downtown gym overall but if you are someone who typically works out late in the evenings, I would avoid coming here. They will turn the lights off 10-15 min before closing—every night. Which can be very dangerous for anyone working out cardio on the treadmills.

This place is awesome!! The pool is a non chlorinated pool, and is huge, the locker rooms are Elite with a steam room and a Jacuzzi in it, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, Max and Kim are so sweet and will go out of their way to help. I'm so glad I decided to get a membership here... It's definitely worth every Dime ?

I have had two runs at being a member of CAC Tabor. The first run was pre-Covid and the gym was super busy and equipment was in great shape. The second run was this year as my office was close by the Tabor Center. CAC Tabor Center is definitely showing signs of age with equipment that is regularly broken, out of service, or quite dated. I terminated my membership in August 2024 and was charged for a full month in September 2024. I am now having to deal with CAC Tabor Center and Wellbridge on getting my money back for a charge that should not have occurred. Not impressed with the account membership situation or the dated setup.

Update: I have been a member for several months now I have to admit I really enjoy this gym. It takes a while to get past all the sales bros. Additionally the gym does not encourage cleaning the equipment when you’re done using it. There are limited cleaning stations and nothing encouraging people to clean the equipment once done. The personal trainers don’t even clean equipment once they’re done… it’s disgusting. The hot smells horrible and is murky.

But if you can over look that stuff one can really enjoy the gym.

Just join the club and am enjoying it. Have yet to be able to attend a class. I am not sure if the class scheduling is the best. The gym its self is nice and clean. But- The locker room needs an update and some new paint and the hot tub needs to be maintained better.

The gym is very busy and pretentious with more men than women.

Over all i am enjoying it and it’s a good investment in one’s self.

I recently joined Colorado Athletic Club downtown Denver. I have been very impressed overall with the club. It is the nicest gym I have joined up to this point in my life. Staff is very friendly, equipment is always organized which is a shock at a large gym. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a gym in the downtown area.

This fitness center is incredible! It has everything you need, but not only to cater to your immediate fitness benchmarks, but to challenge them with advanced equipment and or fitness classes at the ready, should you choose. Atmosphere, in my opinion, is complimentary to the determined downtown scene, and members don’t seem scathed by the annoying presence of construction just outside. (Men’s) locker rooms are clean, equipped, and functional, that includes the additional relaxation aquatic amenities within. Aside from what I feel to be expected treadmill repairs, I’ve enjoyed an awesome workout, followed by a tasty smoothie at the café, and friendly staff always acknowledging your comings and goings.
