I wish Centre for Dance was closer to my home. I quickly sign up for classes.

I've only visited for special events at the dance studio. Twice they had Mayte host belly dancing classes, so I gladly made the trek over. The space is inviting and focused on the artistry of dance. I noticed multiple well-designed studios, and plenty of classes being offered. This is a gem.

We registered for a class here, after reviewing the criteria for 1 year of specific experience for that particular class. We were quickly contacted and pulled from that class because they "didn't know what type of teachers" we'd been with for the last 5 years of dance experience (or the 1yr of specific dance experience). It was recommended that I enroll my 8yo in a class for younger children (6-7) instead because our 5 years of dance experience was elsewhere with instructors they didn't know by name dropping. I really tried to understand their process and I do understand all studios are different. We felt so unwelcome here and it was if we needed to prove we were cool enough to get through the doors. We promptly got a refund after that, which they did easily provide after I gave feedback. I suggest trying a different studio with a more welcoming and inclusive environment.

Started dancing here and fell in love. I take the adult hip hop class on Mondays and have worked w a couple of the instructors now. It’s challenging but still fun and the teachers teach to your level so there’s no reason to not try it! Would definitely recommend.

I have been renting studio space from the Centre for Dance for almost 2 years now and only have great things to say about the studio, staff and the owner! Absolutely love the different room sizes that are available, cleanliness of the studio, and state of the art equipment. I highly recommend for rentals of all sizes. The team has always been accommodating and my students love the space. My classes vary from 50-75 students so I use the large rental studios and LOVE it. My nephew has taken the kid dance classes at CFD and he really enjoyed it! From the classes to the rentals - top notch studio with great pricing and incredible teachers!

We honestly could not have asked for a better dance studio for both of my kids! My daughter has been going to this studio for the past 3 years and started out with one class and now taking 4 dance classes here. The instructors are amazing, they are very encouraging and patient. The owner and admin/office staff are very helpful and open to any questions or suggestions. Not only are the teachers here great but so are the other students and parents. Parents and students genuinely encourage one another to do their best. There's a good number of kids taking classes here which has made my daughter feel very comfortable and the dancers are diverse in background and skill level. We have checked out other dance studios in the area but have always felt at home here.

Many years ago CFD helped us relocate when our previous studio unexpectedly closed. We have always been grateful to Susan(the owner)and her staff for taking us in quickly and efficiently as this was an extremely tough time for dancers and parents. My daughter truly enjoys the classes she takes at CFD. Caitlyn and Kinder are top notch teachers!!! Also, Ms. Hailey stepped up last year to help prep my daughter for a very important audition. Geena and Susan are always willing to help answer any question you may have. CFD will always hold a special place in our hearts❤️.

My daughter is in the dance company at Centre. Susan, the owner is amazing, and creates a fabulous experience for dancers and parents. We are at the studio 6 days a week and I observe interactions between the staff, instructors, parents, and dancers constantly. Everyone who works there is wonderful and very professional. We’ve been in companies at three Dallas studios. This one is absolutely the best. Highly recommend!!!

Centre for Dance is a wonderful studio in all regards. The owner, Susan, is hands on. She will solve any issues you may have. In addition, she is extremely organized and runs a very smooth operation. Centre’s administrative staff is very nice and helpful. Centre’s dance instructors are top notch. We just had recital and the choreography was spectacular. They are not only incredibly creative but wonderful people. Our daughter dances in one of the competitive teams and we have had the best experience with Susan, Dani, the Team manager, and her Team Director, Ms. Meredith. Thank you Centre for Dance!
