John was a great instructor. After spending 3 hours driving his Tacoma, I feel that I have the foundation to become a competent driver. He's a patient and relaxed teacher who breaks things down clearly for a new learner. Definitely worth the money!

What a great experience from my initial call with their team to learning how to drive my new manual Corvette. I've never driven a manual vehicle before and I found Gear Masters online and got started right away. Very approachable people and very patient with me until I figured it all out. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants a professional to teach them.

I’ve never felt more confident after one lesson like this before. Zach who was my instructor was the most helpful and nicest guy ever, he talked me through everything and answered any questions I had. After the lesson I went straight home to start driving and I mean it when I tell you I felt a confident I have never felt before with my stick shift. I couldn’t be more happy with how Zach taught the lesson and was patient and understanding through out the whole thing. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who needs or wants to learn to drive stick shift.

I can definitely recommend their service. I won’t say that I have mastered the manual transmission yet but the lesson has certainly improved my skills and I was able to drive well enough on the road. I will still need more practice and a manual car to fully master it. Jiane was a great instructor and very patient.

I took this course because I’m planning on renting a vehicle in Europe and manual transmissions are the most common and less expensive to rent.
Overall, I had a great learning experience with my instructor. He was patient with me and calmly explained, in detail, what mistakes I was making throughout the learning process.
Towards the end, he had me smoothly stopping and going. I feel much more confident in my ability to handle a manual now.
Definitely worth the price. I would recommend The Gear Masters to anyone wanting to learn the standard way of driving.

I had a great time with Damian! I took the advanced/refresher course and went from having never driven manual to feeling confortable enough to go anywhere. Damian was very patient, positive, and calm. He answered all my questions and helped me feel confident in my driving. He made sure I got everything I wanted out of the lesson. My experience learning how to drive stick shift was wonderful! My teacher was Damian and he was phenomenal. He was very patient and communicated great with me. I felt confident that I could properly learn how to drive stick shift with Damian by my side. I was very nervous at first, but I was able to get comfortable towards the end. My husband has been wanting to learn how to drive stick shift, so we will be working with Damian again in the future!
