Hello DFW,
I went to the college today, because my wig was too hot. I was impressed from the time I walked in the door and out. I didn't even have to have an appointment. I had conditioner in my hair and a bag under my wig. She rinsed out the conditioner and put me under the dryer. The student asked me what kind of style that I wanted. I'm a senior citizen, so of course I didn't know. I told her to work her magic, and do what she felt like doing. I had attention from three students at the school. One laid, the hair out, one braided almost to the bend, and the third student finished the braid. Thanks Faith, Grace, and Xiomara.
Margaret, their awesome teacher that I have known for 15 years will see me every other month. I have new stylist. You should check them out. The price was reasonable also.❤️❤️❤️

I just left there, it's Saturday. Called to see if I could walk in for my 1st spiral set.
It was very clean, Ms. Margaret was friendly, professional, and was happy to take on the task. Que is a barber, was chopping men's hair to perfection. He played his nice R&B pandora playlist, the atmosphere was so relaxing and splendid. The calm aura made me want to karaoke, lol.

I'm a customer for life, and I must say I am very picky when it comes to my natural hair.

Margaret was slaying box braids on another lady while I was under dryer.

When I say Margaret "layed my hair do" I just can't sing enough praises about her skills.

Yes, ladies & gents go here! I can promise you won't be disappointed!
Wishing this school, the owner, students, everyone there much success. I support trade schools! They allow hands on experience you can't learn from a book.
Ok...gotta run to show off my cute hair!

Went twice, won't be back. I understand these are students, but I can cut my hair better at home. Asked for a simple cut both times: 1 on the sides, 4 on the top. Apparently these folks can't handle that, and the instructor didn't know how to teach them. First time, the guy was afraid to touch my head. The next guy was grinding the clippers into my skull like he was mad at it.

What a great find!! One of the best combo of a teacher with a great personality and sharing to a group young barber's to be! Very exciting and great place to have while they learn.
I'm not What the instructor name was they called her coach, the young man that did a fantastic job on beard and 50% of hair on top ,just an artist! Without a doubt I will be back and will definitely spread the words so these students can the public they can practice
on! $10.00 u can't beat that. Good luck to the school and future barber's!

I Love my haircut! My barber( and I never got his name. He was Asian is all I can tell you ) did an excellent job cutting my hair. He took his time and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! I was greeted very friendly by staff. I had no appointment but was taken care of right away. Didn't have to wait at all. Atmosphere was great and was a very good experience! ? I walked out of there with an extra skip in my step...

Got my hair washed by a student, all though there was still a little build up, he did really well and the instructors supervised him and showed him his mistake, plus I have thick hair, so I don't blame him ?. I'd definitely recommend going here.

I really like the service and the prices. My barber Alexander did a good job for what he did. I know next time to just get a haircut and a shave. I love a tight line and a great shave. The only thing I didn’t like was nothing was explained like (prices) I will be going back the owner Ms. Margret was so nice and professional. I do recommend this place.

I can be not be happy enough, Ms Margret and her students friendly environment. I used to cut my boys hair myself and I decided to take them to Dallas Barbering school in Arlington and OMG this guy was so rude and my kids did not like it so we came to State Barber and we fill welcome all the time.

You see the advance students helping the up and coming students and God bless them for their team work
