I'm recovering from Colon Cancer. I had to make an emergency stop because of complications from my recovery. 2 feet from the front door is the public restrooms. I came in an proceeded to the restroom before I had an accident. I was told if I don't have an appointment I am not allowed to use there bathroom. I said FR? She responded we are not a public bathroom. I'm sorry. But this place is not caring and only want your money. With that behavior I will never trust a staff member here or will I EVER bring my wife or kids to. That was simply the worst thing I have seen in a while. Thank god, I was able to make it to another PUBLIC restroom behind this location. Not only was the lady at the counter rude, she even glared at me like I was some street corner bum. I'm just happy there was no customers in the waiting room to watch me get rejected and embarrassed while trying to use a restroom. I would recommend friendlier service. That attitude doesn't belong in the medical field WHATSOEVER!!!

Find another place to go to, there are too many of these places to be subjected to this kind of mistreatment. My daughter called and was distressed because she was having chest pains. I met her at this ER clinic and she told me the nurse was making her feel stupid for coming in. Over 3 hours I observed this nurse and her lack of bedside manner. She was condescending, rude and unprofessional. She acted as if I didn't understand English and when I asked her a question I had to ask 3 more to get a full answer. She showed no empathy for my daughter and what she was feeling or her concerns. The final straw was when we were leaving I asked if my daughter could request her medical records be sent to her physician. Her response was "negative". I thought clearly she misunderstood what I asked and repeated it and once again she said "negative" I said "wait, you're telling me you won't release her medical records to her or her doctor?" She said, "we're an ER, we don't do that." I then told her "she was the rudest, most condescending, dismissive and unprofessional nurse I had ever come across". She said "she had been doing this for 30 years" and I responded by telling her that "she's been doing it too long, because it's obvious she hates her job and the people she treats". She had the nerve to follow us out front to continue arguing her case that she wasn't unprofessional.
Do not go to this place, nurse "N" is Nurse Ratched in real life. The doctor and the front desk assistant were amazing, checking on us constantly. But this nurse needs a new calling because she is no longer capable of empathy. Find some other place to get treated because the only treatment you'll get here is "maltreatment".

BEWARE! I called just before 11 pm prior to my visit to the clinic and provided condition to staff answering phone. She said they could help me, so I went to the clinic and found no other patients waiting when I arrived or during my entire time there. Mary at the counter and who I spoke with on the phone was rude and abrupt and seemed to be bothered when I asked questions about the many redundant forms they had me fill out for 30 minutes before receiving treatment on an eye condition. I asked Mary questions about some of the information in the forms about facility fees and observations fees which were stated at exorbitant rates. She had to take the forms and read over them before she provided a general answer which I did not believe addressed my question. She then tells me that they cannot treat me because I am over 65 and have Medicare and they do not take or file with Medicare. I explained, as I noted on several of the forms, that I only have Part A (hospitalization) which was not applicable to the visit since I have insurance with United HealthCare through employer group plan and that covers an urgent care visit. Also, anyone who understands Medicare, which I would think an employee of an urgent care clinic would know, that Part A is only applicable when patient is admitted to hospital, which is definitely not the case when being treated at urgent care clinic. It was then midnight and I found myself trying to find another facility that could help, all because of the incompetence and lack of concern from the initial phone call to the Medicare issue an hour later. After reading other reviews about the exorbitant charges to others before posting this review, I guess I should count my blessings that I dodged a bullet by being turned away unjustly. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC if you need educated and truthful clarification on anything, hope to be treated with compassion and honesty, and don’t want to sell your first born to pay the exorbitant charges after your visit. FIND A LEGITIMATE FACILITY!

Worse place I ever visited .. wrong diagnosis and totally surprising bills., stay away from this place if you don’t want to loose your health and wealth.. All of the 5 star reviews are fake.. read through all the 1 star review for real patient experiences..

ER of Texas needs to revisit the costs of their services. My 19 year old son went in with a case of strep throat. They initially charged him $1000 for the ER copay on our insurance and gave him a COVID test and a strep test and then billed an additional $4220 to the insurance!! The Covid test alone was nearly $700 (which he had already taken a home test for). Then they turn around and sent him an additional bill for nearly $500! I don’t know who is in charge of billing for this facility but this is ridiculous. I would absolutely stay away from here as they will take advantage of you. Even the Baylor hospital 2.5 miles down the tollway doesn’t charge as exorbitant prices as this.

This place is nothing short of amazing . I took my 3yo In for possible ear infection. Dr.Qureshi was the doctor and he took great care of us. Made sure I knew what he was doing , what the nurse was doing and discussed options for treatment with me instead of “telling” me what the plan was . The added bonus was the kids room. Hand painted walls that truly helped preoccupy my sick kiddo . ER of Texas Frisco will always be our first choice for now on !

Had to go here for what felt like food poisoning and it was honestly a great experience and that’s saying a lot since I felt like I was about to vomit half the time. My nurse (Marsha) was absolutely amazing! We need more nurses like her in the world that actually enjoy what they do And are great at it. The rest of the team was also amazing and it was just a great experience all around.
