Kyle and his crew were highly professional and knowledgeable about our move. Thank you for everything. On the other hand, the office is another story. They did end up changing us $500 dollars more than the estimate because we went over the amount of cubic feet. Yes, I did add a few extra boxes but not nearly enough to add up to that amount. My thought is the estimate was too low to start with. I was also told it was hourly and they a lotta 8 hours to complete. They only took 6 hours When I questioned it I was told it was the minimum number of hours. When I spoke to the estimator, he said he was unaware there was a minimum number of hours. Although he told me he has been working for this company for years so how could he not know?!? Waiting on a callback tomorrow. Not going to hold my breath.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Tri-State Area Movers! They seriously took the headache out of our move. The team was super professional, fast, and took great care with all of our stuff. Everything got to our new place in perfect condition, and they even helped set up our furniture. After reading so many negative reviews about moving companies, I was a bit worried, but Tri-State Area Movers were definitely an upgrade! They made everything so much easier. Highly recommend them if you want a smooth and stress-free move!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I absolutely would. This was hands down the most horrible experience I’ve ever had with any business. The office staff is unprofessional, deceptive, and outright scammers. The person who booked our move told us this was a flat rate, but by the time the movers had already moved everything we own into a truck, they then decided to make up ridiculous fees that we were not informed about prior to the move. Doubling our total.

Dipika, the woman I dealt with, was beyond rude. I have never encountered anyone as unprofessional as her. Yelling over me and making absolutely 0 sense. She then had the audacity to try and bribe us to leave a 5-star review. She promised to lower the price of the move only if we agreed to post a positive review online.

This company thrives on taking advantage of people during an already stressful time.

The only redeeming part of this nightmare was the movers themselves—they were hardworking, professional, and did a great job. Unfortunately, their good work is completely overshadowed by the shady, unethical behavior of the people running this business.

Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. This company is a complete scam. NEVER use them!

This company was not truthful about the low cost ($1150.00)telling us theres no hidden fees. They excluded additinal fees which amounted to twice the price they gave us ($2472.25) they gave me a pick up date with a 12-4pm pick up time. They didnt show up. They called me at night to tell me theyll be arriving the following day at 12pm but I received a called at 8am saying they were outside and I was out of town and had to rush back for the pick up. They loaded the truck and THEN hit me with the actually price they were charging me. They also fixed the total sq footage to a false amount claiming the boxes I used weren’t "medium sized" but when they gave us the quote on the phone they were fully aware we were including medium sized home depot boxes. The excuse( after the truck was laoded) was that medium sized homedepot boxes are larger than what they consider medium in their computer . It wasnt until the boxes were on the truck that they said medium boxes are closer to large in their system. They then asked me what date I needed them delivered, however they missed the delivery date by over a week claiming they had 14 days from pick up to deliver. Most of the boxes arrived damaged some were completely destroyed. 2 boxes they had repacked and my boxes were gone all together. One box didnt arrive and one box wasnt mine at all. We took photos of the boxes they delivered and measured to about half the cubic ft they charged me. They’ll say anything to you on the phone and hide behind fine print of contracts which doesn’t protect THE CUSTOMER. They said the price quoted was the price they would charge, it even says on their website that traveling expenses are included. But they charged me for gas, even added more for the inflated price they charged me. The man in the picture who was one of the delivery guys, did a good job for the condition the boxes were in. They were not responsible for the condition of the boxes or the amount charged. Someone moved my things from the truck that picked up my things to another truck. Just look at the pictures.

If I could give this moving company zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and use ANY other company. Our experience with this company was a disaster from start to finish. They broke their contract, showed up 5 hours late, and failed to provide the correct equipment—despite multiple prior calls and clear instructions. We specifically requested a truck with a lift gate and a lift jack due to the weight of two toolboxes (each over 600 lbs). They showed up in a budget rental truck without any of the necessary equipment—no lift gate, no dolly, no moving blankets. The movers insisted they could handle the toolboxes without the right gear and, unsurprisingly, ended up scratching them in the process.

After hours of delays and frustration, I had no choice but to call another moving company. Piece of Cake Moving arrived the next day, fully equipped with a lift gate and a small crew, and moved the toolboxes without a hitch.

Not only was the original company unprofessional and completely unprepared, but their customer service was rude and contradictory. One minute they told me they couldn’t move my toolboxes because the lift gate couldn’t handle the weight, then in the next breath, they promised they could come back in two days and do it. Which is it?

To make matters worse, when I tried to cancel due to their incompetence, they threatened to put a lien on my property! I’ve never encountered a company this unprofessional and unethical. They broke the contract by failing to show up on time and without the agreed-upon equipment, yet they still had the audacity to issue legal threats.

Save yourself the headache and wasted time. Use literally any other moving company—this one is absolutely not worth the stress.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS -I retained their services for a move and it was a disaster. The price quoted by the sales rep is not the price you pay. Deepa, the manager for the company, has absolutely no idea about customer service. My furniture was damaged and dirty. Filed a timely claim and am still waiting 3 months later for response

I should have went with my gut about this company they gave me a rate of 475 supposed to be for 4 hours for 2 guys because he was trying to beat another quote I recieved They came with 3 guys which i was told im not being charged for the 3rd guy he was to watch the truck with my belongings by the time everything was loaded i got a call from Dipika in the office and was told I had to pay over 1000 I was so pissed I was like what! she said I went over the 2 hours meanwhile I was quoted for 4 hours she was nasty and rude basically saying if i don't pay im not getting my stuff. All I could do was cry as I'm a single mother and right before Christmas. Thank you for ruining our Christmas. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIEVES.
