We had the greatest experience here for my daughters first time skiing. All of the staff, especially the instructors, are so kind and attentive to each individual kids needs and skill levels. The ski class was affordable and included lunch (we did the full day lesson.) They have an amazing lodge with full windows where you can sit and watch your kiddos entire lesson. We will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love Loveland valley. It's a great beginning mountain. I have been here many times before. Today I took an intermediate lesson with Brian L. And he was fantastic. I started the day off with jagged snow plow turns. Ended the day with smooth connected C turns. I'm using a lot less energy and feel so confident!!

I took a beginner snowboarding class at Loveland Ski School and had an amazing experience. The instructor was incredibly helpful and patient with me as I learned the basics. The ski area itself was perfect, with gentle slopes and plenty of space to practice. By the end of the day, I had made huge progress and was confidently navigating the bunny hills. I highly recommend Loveland Ski School for anyone looking to learn how to snowboard or ski.

Honestly pretty disappointed in the ski school. We signed up for a lesson as first time skiers. The lesson included rental equipment and a lift ticket. However, the lesson started twenty minutes late. At twenty minutes they started dividing us into groups of seven, so really it was closer to forty minutes late by the time we actually had an instructor. Super frustrating to spend over half an hour standing in the cold waiting.

Plus, the lesson went longer than the two hours I expected. That meant that by the time the lesson was ending the lifts were about to close. We thought the lesson would include learning how to use the lift and doing down a real run, not three hours going down the bunny hill over and over again. It was such a slow lesson, my partner and I both were bored and ended up leaving the lesson early so we could go down a green at least one time before the lift closed.

Overall, while it was nice to get some tips before jumping on a hill, it felt more like a waste of time and money. Wish we had just watched some YouTube videos and practiced on our own on the bunny hill for a bit.

I had a great experience at Loveland when taking a beginner lesson. I arrived a little before 9am, easily found a place to park, walked into the equipment rental place and got all my equipment quickly and with no line, and even got some runs in before the lesson. The instructor Sasha was great and gave everyone dedicated time and personalized advice. Our group was only 7 skiers, all with similar ability, so our class went well. I would recommend their 3 class program for first timers or any of the additional lessons for targeted practice.

Learning how to snowboard in your 30s is never too late. The teachers here are so patient. There were 6 people in my class, and the teacher was able to provide comments and suggestions to each of us. I had a great time!

Lee was an amazing instructor. I have been to one ski class before this ( somewhere else ) , and this was far better than previous one.

Lee is a very patient instructor. Rather than just giving generic instructions, he was actually telling us what we were doing wrong.
Would visit again ( if time permits )

A great place, if you want to learn ski.

Edit : it’s kids friendly as well.
