Great program with great potential.
But this program is designed to help people that are on state assistance. People that are struggling with economic hardships . And in their request for quality candidates, I’m disappointed to learn that they will not actually help you enroll for certification if you are homeless.
If you were looking for certifications, such as a CNA That does not require a GED or high school diploma, They will not help pay for the class nor will you advance in their program until you obtain your high school diploma or GED.
While this program has wonderful resources, The program is not designed to help you on YOUR path to success ….The program is actually designed to help you on THEIR path to success..

the program is good if you have your ish together. I loved every second of it BUT they definitely have a dark untold side. watched a lot of people get kicked out & it's sad to watch them go. I graduated from CDL track , barely cause the school was really bad, and i was under high stress and anxiety the entire time. I was homeless when i started , got a place and a job but now can't find work. I Keep getting no call backs or failing background checks due to old speeding tickets when i was younger. Been unemployed for months and now im homeless again and really don't have other resources.

I recently Tried to go through WIOA to get trained in CNA but since cross purpose pulled from those funds i dont qualify. I'm back to being homeless with a CDL i cant use. i'm in the same situation now then when i first started. if not worse cause at least before i was working amazon and could possibly had the chance to pay my bills and now after quitting i cant come back and im homeless and cant find employment or go through any other job training.

not sure what to do honestly ive been sleeping in my car and its about to get repossessed and its extremely hard to get in contact with anyone. I thought i made friends but everyone kinda just stopped texting the group chat once we all graduated. I feel so alone, im just by myself and it's about to be winter and i feel stuck. Im sad cause i really wanted to give them 5 stars but being that im in a worse situation then before started... i cant.

CrossPurose, especially Leslie Cole, has help me excel my career development. I feel confident in applying to jobs, interviewing with my awesome resume and understanding who I am as a career person. Leslie patiently explains all aspects of the program in weekly Launch classes, is great at answering questions and even stays on after to assist individual questions. She is very thorough and she gives personal aspects of her life that are relatable. We do this through Zoom and is very convenient. I have even referred my husband and a friend who also started the program and are loving it! Thank you Leslie for sharing your experience, strength and hope!!

I have not issues with the program at CP, but be warned, they are bad about responding, and sometimes dont respond at all. Their virtual classes do not provide consistency to those that need the need or ask for help when it coms to employment barriers. There is an employee named Leslie (wont put down her last name) at Cross Purpose who is non cordial, lax, and condescending. She is usually late to classes on a consistent basis, and offers no support when approached but mainly excuses. She does not return phone calls, or reply to emails even after sending several of them. Its a nice program and all, but a lot of the coaching counselors (particularly the one I mentioned,) do not provide consistency in responding to concerns at all. Please hire counselors that actually do take the time and care, and not people that have attitudes that they are better than others. On the other hand, if you're gonna do that, then please at the very least, hire individuals that have a good attitude and not fake phony individuals who treats people indifferent bc they do receive government assistance. TRY HARDER CP!

Leslie C. (employment coach) does not return phone calls or emails on a consistent basis, and unfortunately makes excuses.... consistently. BAD NEWS.

Was told to leave the smiley public library branch of Denver when I asked what was going on they were extremely rude and told me park on the street if I don't like it how in the world is the city of Denver is sanctioning a private business to be able to kick citizens of public land

Having a job while in the program is not the easiest thing to do. This program is mostly for people who receive state assistance, or someone that is being taken care of like children(17 -23). Lose your job to get a free paid skill in 4ish months(depending on course) or work part time and hope your bills are taken care of. Outline of your schedule: Mon - Thurs 9am - 1pm personal development/resume building for 6weeks(nice if you aren’t already self aware or able to create resumes and interviews intimidate you). Wednesday “fam gathering” 6pm-9pm and once you get into your training if you’re kicked out of the program you can’t come back. Everything is mandatory and you get 3-5 absences. Oh, there is a $200 dollar stiffen each months they will present it’s as $50 for every Wednesday that you come to “fam gathering” but it doesn’t count more than 4 Wednesdays, and on the other hand if you miss one Wednesday or show up late then you don’t get $50. They don’t help you with resources unless you already have “snap”. Otherwise everything is at your own expense. Religion is lightly pushed (CROSS) purpose. But like I said up top, it’s a cute program, made for a certain demographic of people. It’s helpful if you can stay but not so much if you’re an adult with adult bills.
